The Project Brief

Aim

The customer wanted to transform their front garden, creating a new patio area at the front of the house, a new lawn and a new driveway making their garden look modern.

Considerations

The driveway being on a slope, meant that the grids needed to be dug low enough into the driveway and not too overfilled to stop the decorative stones from spilling over the edges or looking uneven. As the grids act as a grip for the car tyres, we had to ensure that the correct amount of decorative stones was spread over the grids as too many stones would have reduced the grids’ purpose.

Current condition

The garden needed completely excavating before work could begin, a digger was used to create a complete blank canvas and all waste was removed from the site.
