As we welcome spring, we have services we can offer to get your garden in the best condition for the upcoming brighter months. We will also be telling you the latest news that’s been happening here at Planet Turf…

Is your lawn struggling from the cold winter? Are you stuck on what to do to get a nice green lawn?

We here at Planet Turf are already planning for lawn care season – we recommend for the next few weeks before we can start scarifying and aerating, to apply a high nitrogen feed to your lawn. This will help it recover from the cold winter.

As we are noticing a lot on jobs since the snow and frosty weather, a lot of plants haven’t managed to make it through the freezing conditions, and we are always trying to save existing plants or shrubs. We have great plant and shrub feed that can be applied several times between now and winter. While this isn’t always guaranteed, when nature calls, sometimes it’s best for a new planting scheme to replace the old. Why not get in touch with us or speak to your regular Team Leader, who will offer you guidance on what is best for your garden?

We believe now is a great time to get your patio and driveways pressure washed, to bring them back to life this spring. We have several high-powered pressure washers waiting to bring your patio back to life!

This is also the last chance to prune back your summer flowering shrubs, like Roses and Hydrangeas. This will help give them the best possible bloom for the summer that awaits us.

Employee mentions and company news!

Planet Turf would like to welcome our new recruit Danny, who has joined us after a successful trial period. We are also proud to promote Joe Chalker, Sam Van Dort and Louie Gwyther as Team Leaders, having passed a successful trial period. They strongly showed their qualities and attributes for the role.

If you have read our previous newsletters, you would have seen in late October that we had taken over a large landscaping and maintenance contract. You will be able to check out three pieces of coverage following our announcement as the new landscaping and maintenance contractors. This can be found on Bdaily, London TV and Insider Media.
